Whakarewarewa Pest Free Program

What does it do?

Via a network of volunteers funded by donations we aim to heavily reduce the number of pests to a level where native species can thrive and where appropriate remove them entirely. We achieve this with a variety of humane trapping methods to remove invasive species from the environment.
